Male BCI

Hey my local pet shop just got a rescue male columbian boa. The lady said that they are anywhere from 6-12 feet and this freaked out my mom. Dont only females get that big? Wouldnt a male stay around 6 or 7 ft.

some do, some grow more. 12 food is a huge female, uncommon in BCI(comlumbian boa) He may top out at 10 feet+(unlikely) or may only become 6-8 feet.

Well, I have 2 adult BCIs in my collection. The male is 7'2", but he's considered to be VERY large for a male. The female is about 8-9 feet, but is also quite large. What you can absolutely count on is 5 feet for a male, 6 for a female. Any smaller than this, you're dealing with a dwarf. The average I'd say is 6/7 respectively. 12 feet is damn near unheard of, but I do know one breeder whose female BCI is 11'3". But she is an absolute freak of nature, hehehehe.
