How long should two males go on fighting when stimulating breeding behavior? I put two males together once, and they didn't fight for very long. (I'd say 30 minutes or so). But now I have two males fighting, and neither one is showing any signs of surrendering.
Just wondering how long I should wait, or do they all do it at different paces?
A minute is all it takes.
Try this,
Take the female out of the males cage. Place in the extra male. Let them combat for a minute or so then take out the extra male and put the female back in.

I tried it, and sure enough..heh.... But it took the original male awhile to settle down, he was pretty pissed off; I think he wanted the extra male dead, lol. But he's calm and doing his deed now.
