Mali uro feeding ?????

Hello all i have a couple ??? for you regarding feeding of uros. This is what i have been doing to date so far if you have any suggestions i'd love to hear them. I haven't had a reptile in ohhh about 10 yrs or so, so I could use a little help.
I've been offering him thawed frozen veggies the mixed kind once a day in with that is a mixture of parrot food that i have to make up consisting of rolled oats, dehulled millet cracked wheat pieces of almond, carrots, potatoes,onions,celery,vegetable broth powder,dried kelp, all the veggies listed in the mixture i make up are dried.(It smells great when you make it....lol) I do offer kiwi and apples as treats.
Is there anything i'm missing that i should be doing. I just want to make sure that i am caring for him properly.... Thank you in advance for you time.

You are missing the mixed, leafy greens, which should make up the bulk of his diet. Turnip greens, collared greens, dandelion greens, etc. The darker the leafy green, the better. He should be fed a mix of these daily, with the other things added in for variety.

Are brocoli sp? part of leafy greens? I feed him that as well. Also can you feed them spinache sp? I was thinking of picking up a bag of mixed leafy greens for him. Is that ok? sorry for all the ?'s but i'm more of a snake person and this uro is my kids but as always mom does most of the work....lol....I don't mind though.
Also does it matter if it's frozen or fresh veggies?

broccoli and spinach both should be fed in very limited quantities. those mixed dark leafy greens you can buy at the grocery store are good. and frozen mixed vegies thawed out to room temperature are just fine for variety.

I have heard many times that broccoli is not good to offer, and anyways you should have enough of eveyrthing else to offer. As lisa said you need to give it things like collard green, escarole, bok choy, and other dark leafy greens. This is be offereed to the uro most of the time. I add in carrots every other day and throw in a little bit of apples or grapes but not to often. The greens are the most important. Deerfernfarms.com has a really good caresheet and feeding section you could take a look at. They are very accurate with there selections and you will know forsure that this is the better diet. They know there stuff good luck!
