Favorite Herping Vacation
Where would you go if you could take a vacation anywhere in the world to do field herping?
Australia
North America
Mexico
Central America
South America
Africa
Europe
Middle East
China
Any others?
I personally would toss a coin between South America and Australia. Australia would be safer due to the political unrest in many South American countries. If it were'nt for this it would be South America.

I've been to C. America, S. America and a lot of the Carribean Islands. I would like to go to S.E. Asia and Australia. One day, when we have the money.

Not to mention, Australia has 400 indigenous species of spiders, only TWO of which are non-deadly. And have you seen some the eight legged freaks there? HUGE! To hell with roller coasters. If I want a scare, I'll go herping in Ozzie Land.

It's a toss up between South/Central America or Australia. I'd love to see all the places listed but those two make me drool the most.
Then again, looking for giant pythons would be great too!

Australia! Or maybe Africa...so hard to choose!! India was pretty fun, and so was Costa Rica...I'd do them again any day too!

Indonesia maybe... monitors, burms, retics, bunch of assorted geckos and frogs, some crocs too! Also a fair bit of vipers, and vine snakes! cool place, wouldn't mind going there.
