Thanks all. Those are both female CRBs. The second one is a gargantuan specimen for her species - she's 5'8", and HEAVY. I'm still looking for a stud for them though.

Right on, Spydey. They're fabulous boas to own. It's a shame that they are so underrated just because they are not quite as spectacular to look at as their brazilian cousins.

i just got a CRB for christmas.shes about 4ft ( i got her a couple of days b4 christmas) i fed her on friday she ate 3 large mice. what does ur big one eat.

Large (150g+) rats. I'd like to give her 2 per feeding (She'd take that without hesitation I'm sure), but can't afford that right now. She'll be getting jumbo (250 g +) rats as soon as I order them.

i feed mine 3 live large mice when i bought her she was eating live. I want to switch her to F/T rats. should i swith her to
A. dead mice first
B live rat
C. dead rat

Rainbow boas, especially maurus are the EASIEST rainbows to feed. I don't think its going to be a huge deal to switch that snake anything. Feed it an appropriately-sized dead rat. No biggie.
