sSnakeSs Party Anyone?
Okay...so i can't exactly hide this from Jeff...but i really wanted it to be a surprise...but here goes. I would like to arrange some sort of party for all the members here sometime in the new year. I was initially thinking about the same time as the feb show...but im now thinking that weather wise it might not be the best time of the year. Following that..there is an april show. I figure that near a show date would make it more of an event for ppl to come to. It would be in celebration of the sites 2nd anniversary, and i wanted to throw one to show the best brother in law in the world how proud i am of him. What i need from you out there in net land is a show of hands of who would attend? At this point im not sure if i need a restaurant..a club...a hall or what? Im not even sure if its something i could do financially and have it offered at 100% free....but thats my goal. So if you would be interested...please let me know..thanks

Well, there is the Spring TARAS show! Bout time you guys out east came out here and experienced Kokanee Gold at 4000 feet of elevation! (The elevation and mountain air adds to the buzz... trust me...)

April sounds good but if we take last year's April show's temperature, it was far from the best!!! For those who didn't attend, there was a tad of a snowstorm that weekend and it was pretty cold!
Not to say that it would happen again this coming spring, I just think that the July show should be taken into consideration too.
Count me in for sure! But I would think there should be a door fee even if it's just 1$ to go to sSnakeSs. Just an idea

If it were quite close, I might attend. But I probably wouldn't because it'll probably be in creepy port credit or something.
And yeah, there should be a cover charge. 5$ would be reasonable.

That is a great idea, not only would we be celebrating the greatest herp community on the web but it would give all the members a chance to meet other members in person (I know a lot of you already know other members but I don't know many of you and I am pretty sure there are others as well), anyway...count me in.
