hello all,
I saw an ad on a different popular classifieds site that claimed to have double het piebald/albino balls for sale,only the pic was of normal lil ol pythons.
My question is-wouldnt a piebald male and an albino female make 100%piebald albinos-no hets?especially no normal looking ones.
Well there only 10.000U.S.Get em while you can
No you would get no Albino,s and no Pied,s from a Albino to Pied breeding what you would get is 100% double het,s for Albino@Pied breeding the normal looking as they would all look like a "normal" double Het,s together you would have a 1/16 chance of producing a Albino pied

ok, i understand where i screwed up
i forgot to add the missing gene from each parent to the other one
ex:i had aa pp combine instead of aaPP AApp
a=albino
A=normal
P=normal
p=pied
thanks for the quick response!
no both the pied and the albino are resecive genes. an albino to a normal or pied or any other none albino gene will give only hets. same with the pied. So a pied to an albino will produce 100% dubble hets, these will look like normal ball pythons but will carry the genes for both traits.
Go to NERD and he has all the info you need on all the ball python genes
