changing colours
i was wondering if anyones boa kinda changes colours sometimes. Mine isn't in a shed but right now he got some grey in his tans.... hes usually really tan and no gray spots. but today and some other days he would get them, why does this happen?
i know its nothing to worry about, just curious thats all

Yeah my boa is fairly light and turns dark occassionally...Kinda wierd but normal....

Most boas change colours noticeably during certain times of day, mood, or temperature. Some other reasons for colour changes are sickness and shed cycles.

Also, shed cycles start days before you notice the eyes go blue. Maybe your boas is just in the very early stages of a cycle....
Or maybe it just changes color. :P

yeah Cleo changes all the time! She is grey with tan, but sometimes she is almost the color of wet cement 9really dark) and other times she has PEACH all over her body! I love the fact she changes like that, it's like waking up to a new snake everyday!
