light sensitive?

Hi all.was wondering if snake eggs are light sensitive.I plan on using a old aquarium,should I cover it with a towel?Thanks.

It should be dark though....

Colubrid eggs.I was just wondering because I dont think in the wild the eggs are out in the sun.

I would us a cooler as it will hold temps better and they will be in the dark.
