Question bathtub + poop = uh oh

Oh man you guys. What if you're giving your large 9+ foot burm a bath and it ends up crapping 3 foot long chunks in your tub, what do you do? I mean, you wouldn't want to let it drain... it can't even fit inside the hole!! So what do you end up doing... get some gloves and a bunch paper towels and flush it all down the toilet, then bleach out your shower like there's no tomorrow? Haha! Lend me some advice here! Thanks

I bath my large boas in a large Sterilite tub. I have nothing above 7 1/2 foot, so it works out. Any dirtied water I just dump into the John, flush and all is gone. That is when I place the snake into the bath for a clean rinse. I usually only bath my snakes after they have rubbed into their own poo in their cages, but sometimes they will go after they are in the tub as well. If you have to use your tub, cleaning it out would work like you said. Just something that comes with the territory I suppose. The larger the snake, this bigger the poo.

I learned my lesson a long time ago. I gave my 11ft burm a soak and he cut loose all over the tub. I couldn't find any rubber gloves. I used an old fish tank net and got to scooping. My wife wouldn't even think about getting back in the tub until I bleeched it multiple times. After that I went and picked up a rubber maid 50 gallon container.

One time (at band camp.....just kidding) I was soaking one of my 16' 130+ lb. bumese in the tub and that sucker let loose a turd that (I kid you not) was at least 3' long and bigger around than a grape fruit!!! Not to mention that I had fed it several adult mallards and the log was full of contour feathers! Talk about a mess!!! I just turned the sprayer on hard and washed as much as I could down the drain. I ended up having to get a lot of the junk out by hand though. Not good....

Man I have a story to share. I went to church this morning and got back, went in my room and it smelt like death! I see my burm got out once again and knocked over a lamp, a few books, some clothes, the usual. I go to put her back in her cage and notice turds the size of my 10 pound yorkie all over the floor!! OMG it was so nasty, all over my school binder and everything!! So I go tell my mom and she yells at my dad, so I tell her I'm just joking and I go get a towel and just scoop it all on top and throw the whole towel away in the garbage and everything. UGH!! I almost vomitted... it was disgusting!!!

the easy way to get it out of the tub is use shopping bags (plastic not paper in this case)lol, and use it like a glove then turn it iside out (the way ppl pick up dog poo in the park.)and ya its gross but thats the problem with eating a rabbit whole i guess.

I use plastic bags as well ..

After my rocks eats one or 2 good 10 pound rabbit the logs gotta be at least a good foot long sometimes even more..

The plastic bag is the only way to go for me!

I should weigh them someday .. I swear there really heavy at tims lol
