Volcano Corn (For Andy G)

Here is the volcano corn that I promised that I'll take photos of. I don't know...but this is a proven adult male. I am going to try him with my adult bloodred female. Just to see if anything pops out that is weird. Hopefully something nice and special will pop out for me.

But I might have to get rid of them soon~
I am starting to plan in 2-3 years time things so might have to start selling the whole collection soon~ so might have to sell these 2003 hatchlings soon~
we'll see what happens...

Anyway here are the photos of the volcano (??) corn.

Side pattern....see why I say there might be bloodred affects on these snakes?

Very red coloration coming through but belly certainly retains black blotches for the most part - assuming the head appearance, loss of lateral blotches and the red suffusion in the belly are reasons you think he might be bloodred outcross. Results of breeding to your bloodred female will be very interesting

Andy,
try again...it should work...maybe just that the server was a bit too busy....sucks sometimes...but hey....it's free...what do I expect from it? LOL>....

Mary,
yup. Exactly. So breeding them together should hopefully give me some interesting results. I konw a few people in the US that is interested in seeing the resulta and some even came up to Canada to buy some of these 'volcano' corns to see what happens (like me breeding to a bloodred) but as of right now I don't know who has been doing it yet.

LOL...the fun with playing with corn genes. Maybe yet another type of hypo? (Ah~ just what we need...yet another type of hypo genes....there are already 4 for sure different kind of hypo...and the 5th one coming up...do we really need a 6th hypo gene? LOL....geeze)

Ah, now I see them! I really love volcanos! Yours is a very nice one too. Mine has no checks at all and actually started with a bit of an orange belly so I am hoping he will be as striking as the adults I have seen thus far!

Yup
that is what I think so too~
But me and Andy G has been talking about this too.
He said that the hatchling that he's got is from a volcanoe to a volcano breeding. But out of the whole clutch all of them were volcanoes only.

So I said that it might be because of luck that there wasn't any bloodred in it. Or it would be volcano is a different thing that is not a bloodred.
So that is why this year I am going to be breeding my volcano to my bloodred to see if there are any bloodred genes in it. Just to prove what the heck a volcano corn is....hahahahahah

I am so hoping for 2004's hatching season~
got lots of experiments that I want to work with~

Stav,

You know.....come to think of it, you're right! It does somehow resemble the male that you send me.....but if I can mix those two together.......I would be god......mixing two males together to get offsprings...hahahahaha Maybe if I can breed the F1s of each of those babies together and we might get some interesting results too.

But then I don't think think that I'll be able to see any results from these two...since I am planning on moving out of Canada in 2-3 years time...hahahahah

You know...you really should get back into Corns....you're a great guy and with incredible looking snakes~

I don't think that I have ever took any photos of your pretty male...I should do that soon....hahahah
