Jake the Snake update!!

Jake has mouth rot. However, I will be starting him on a Cipro derivitive today. I will also be starting Honey Bun on the meds as well. I don't know if she has mouth rot or not, but better safe than sorry. I am also going to haul a$$ on building thier new cage. One site I saw said that mouth rot can be caused by the housing. The cage that I have is old and I want them out of there ASAP. Thanks for all you well wishes. The Doc said that he thinks I caught it early enough that it has not spread into the bones.

Thanks Kristina. I'm wondering if I should be swabbing thier mouths? The vet didn't say anything about it, but most of the sites out there recommend swabbing with topical antibiotics ie: Listerine.
