I have never used it before, but according to their website it should to be changed to brand new bark once a year, and every 2 to 3 months you should take it out and boil it, along with spot cleaning when necessary.
Well im talking about using it for all my tanks or just the ones that need low humidity like my milks. To bad i just threw out $20 worth of some after only 2 weeks of use lolz. It was stinking tho so oh well ill go back to using aspen or newspaper
Well after using repti bark I had those wonderful little red bugs mixed with little black bugs running around on my bp and in the shavings.........you might also want to try care fresh if you only have a few snakes.

One of my 20+ balls is in a 75 gallon aquarium with Repti-Bark. I like it for what it is, but would not use it with the others. I do a complete clean every 3 months or so, and spot clean every peep or poop, changing it with new product.
I've never had a problem with ReptiBark. I completely change it about once every six months. I spot clean frequently. If it smells or looks rank I change it.
I live in a high humidity area (Southeastern Louisiana) so that's usually of little to no concern to me.
