Rescue boa update
When I got him on Octobre 20th he looked like this, dehydrated and cut up:
On the 31st he shed, and on November second I kick-started his apetite with a small live rat and he took down a dead jumbo right after. He's 5.8 feet long, and when I got him he weighed 5 lbs. He's since but on a ton of weight. Daily applications of polysporin has cleared up his nose, even tough the skin is still a little raw... at least it's clean! The scabs on his back have healed and are now white... hopefully they will go away with time.
He is free of parasites and his scales feel wonderful now (if you look at the first pic, you can see how bad it was; crispy would be the best word for it). He's also lightened up, and I believe that with another shed or two he'll look awesome.
Sorry about the blabbing on and on, but I'm very proud of my handsome boy Here are some pictures from today.
Thanks!
Zoe

Such a beautiful animal. It really frustrates me that anyone would mistreat a snake like that.
You did a good job for sure, Zoe
