Talking ontogenesis

is this the color shange in gtps, and such? if so.... my bp is starting to get a little darker, and it seems it is progressing, is this ontogenesis too? thanx

NO! BPs don't go through ontogenesis. It might be a side affect of shedding. Or i've noticed that when it gets kind of cold my snakes get a little darker. just a thought.

involved in an organism changing gradually from a simple
to a more complex level; "he proposed an indicator of
osseous development in children"

The color changing in all snakes could be considered an ontongentic phase. Since most snakes develop yellow colors later in life between the first 6 months to a year.
