Talking My First Monitor

I got my first Monitor and it's a Nile Monitor 1 year old female and some what tame when I pick her up with my welding gloves she doesn't seem to bite but I haven't tryed to pick her up with bare hands LOL. Anyone with any tips to give me would be very helpful. Thanks Jeff Johnson

HeyPython boy, how about you tell us a bit about his set up... basking temps, substriaght, what you are feeding him and such.

Then we may be able to fill in the blanks

The best tip I can give is to be careful and keep the gloves on. How big is she? Mine is a little over six months old now and still a handful. It's pretty much the same for me. If I wear gloves he won't bite but when he feels exposed skin he sinks in the teeth. Good luck with her.

Talking my nile

Well tonight I feed her with my bare hands and she took the mice like a baby I think now that i talk to her she has calmed down. Hopefully she is goin to be like this her whole life well I gotta run so if anyone has any tip please post them oh yeah she is 1 year old female that doesn't bite when i have my glove on i still haven't tryed to pick her up without them LOL. Thanks Jeff Johnson
