Enclosure, backing question?

I'm building a 7foot long enclosure for my wifes Sulcatta, what can I use for a backing material that will look good? This enclosure will be placed in our Dinning room so I would like it to look as good as possible! I hope somone has some ideas for me.

Thanks in advance,

The back is going to be made of wood and just attaching it to that wouldn't be a good idea, the sulcatta scratches alot and I wouldn't want it to scratch any of that off and try to eat it.

why not use laminated counter top. it comes in 12x5 and 8x4 sheets. lots cool patterns and would be scratch resistant
