All in the mathimatics! Pretty cool. I wonder how long it took to figure out the equation to use. I doubt it works with triple digits though. It is a damn good idea.

See i thought about the math, but any two numbers you add and subtract is different.

I figured it out,
What ever number you do, if you add it up, it give you 9.
ex: 27-9=18 1+8=9
if you check all the multiplied's of 9, they will all be the same as the others.
so there is your missing link
:-p

Not really I bet the same formula is used in all those number.....well obviously or it wouldn't work.LOL I bet your math teacher could explain it better. See if he/she can show you. I bet he/she would get a kick out of it.

It is just that.
What ever number you get, it's a multiple of 9. Try it.
So basically, when you enter it in flash.
you use let's say a variable X
then you use an other one named N.
Now, you specify that N is a whole number, so no .00.
And finally, you have your last variable which is let's say E, and you don't specify anything since it will be the number we choose.
the equation is if E/X=N, then and put that symbol.
If E/Xdoes not equal N, then you put any other symbols.
And since when ever we add up the 2 numbers from our answer, it always gives us 9, then the equation works.
see, let's say you take 44 for instance: 4+4=8, 44-8=36 this is your variable E. so 36/9=4 since 4 is a whole number, then you can always put the symbols.
you have to look at it with the symbols on his sheet, check all the multiples of 9, they are the same symbols. If you were to divide 40 by 9, then it wouln't give you a whole number.
Maybe he didn't use that exact formulation, but it would still work just the same.
