Why would a book about Ball Pythons be known as the "Boa Bible"?

You can't go wrong with that book. But there's also a lot of great info on the net (a lot of crap too but that's another post).
Bottom line: Do a lot of reading, ask a lot of questions and do a lot of watching and you'll never stop learning. They are awesome animals to have around.

The book you are looking for, could be this one.
Boaconstrictor Manual (Herpetocultural Library)
Philippe De Vosjoli.
This book can be ordered from Amazon.

I find that The Ball Python Manual tends to focus on imported bps, and lacks some husbandry info. There are great sections on methods to get a bp to eat, and breeding. Just my 2 cents.
