Thumbs down losing electricity source...

the renovations from hell (10th week without a kitchen or complete bathroom) have taken a turn for the decidedly worse. i'll be losing all electricity on tuesday for 14 to 26 hours while the renovators do god knows what

what am i gonna do with my beardie... help... is it alright to leave the lights off for that light, is there some way i can fix the problem, should i overcompensate with light the day before....

*tears* why does my life have to be difficult/renovators have to be so goshdarn lazy?

I don't have beardies but I will say that if you can offer a hot water bottle in a rubbermaid inside the enclosure that should help with the heat source....but the light source missing for a short period will not be a huge problem

Good luck with your rennovations.

...

A day won't kill your beardie. Not even close. Stick a hot water bottle if you're that worried, but its no biggie. Don't you think that in Australia, sometimes there are cold, windy days sweeping through the savannas? Do they all die? Nope.

You're beardie will be just fine. Just don't feed it or anything. Put a blanket over the cage and don't think about it.
