Whered my eggs go?

i woke up this mourning and found that my day geckos had laid their first eggs. it was sweet, but i had to go out for an hour and do my paper route, and when i got back the eggs were gone. one had be stuck to the side of the tank and i could see parts of the egg still stuck there. do you have to remove day gecko eggs as soon as you find them?

I don't know about day geckos persay, but I have experienced disappearing eggs with my pictus geckos. The female laid her eggs, I went off to get the deli cup prepared for the incubator, and when I cam back the egg was gone and the gecko had a nice plump tummy! A good friend of mine who has some of my pictus actually watched one of her females eat a newly laid egg, while it was still kinda soft. So I would guess it's not uncommon for geckos to do this.

What sp? Sounds like a gluer. Its very possible it got nocked off, or bumped. They are very brittle eggs so it doesnt take too much. Did you check the ground for a bits of shell?
