Hum...nice looking but... (video)
...but not well tempered!!! She just hate been touched or, even worse, handle!!! Never saw an angry blood or stp before and, even if I'm used with my wlp and atb, she's the most impresive. A good thing she's under 3 ft, I wouln't imagine a 5-6ft one with that attitude. This video is only bout 2 weeks after I got her so I'm sure she will calm down a bit. I never saw a snake jumping before

Yikes! Yeah, that blood didn't look too happy at being touched...at least you didn't get tagged.

Yikes... imagine that same blood 6 feet long and 50 lbs. Could probably destroy an anclosure if it jumped like that.

Very Beautiful........I would be spending alot of quality time with that puppy to make sure it is tame by the time it gets to big. I would not want to be bitten alot. Maybe you should read her a few stories.....lol.........Again very beautiful, but needs alot of work I guess.
What are you doing now to get her to calm down?

Well, I'm handling her often, for short period. So far so good. As it show on the pics... ![Big Grin](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif) Now, she just has some worse day then others... she's calm sometimes. It was easier then what I thought!

LOL what a little spaz! Great display of their speed though... IMHO bloods/stp are amongst the quickest snakes out there. Even arboreals don't have the insane feeding reflex these guys often display! Only type of snake I have ever seen hurl itself through the air doing barrel rolls at a rat

It seems the shorter and fatter the snake, the quicker the strike they have. I used to have a juvenile Viper Boa who would nail me 2 or 3 times before I knew what happened! Sometimes coming back over the whole length of his body and jumping in the air. Cool video!

maiden_canada: She cost me 250$ plus shipping. it's a great price for a CB. I've paid 172$ for my wc male as an hatchling and he's not as nice.
It's true Lind and Beardonicus, I think it's more impressive with shorted built snake cause they use their whole body to snap instead of only the head and the first half of their body.
