something they spray or squirt (not sure) in defence, and if you look I think the cal. king's head is more up the arm, not around the bp.

hey thanks for the replies yall. i plan to get some more pics of all my snakes up pretty soon so youll be seeing more of them. my cal king used to be insane (still pretty much is) and he used to bite, rattle, and musk alot. you just have to pick them up right away and dont show them that youre affraid and just handle them whenever possible and theyll calm down eventually.

Hmmmm... I wouldn't recommend doing that with a kingsnake. You know their natural diet consists largely of other snakes, right? That's like trying to make your ball socialize with a rat

its all good i know what theyre capable of. im the one holding the king and i keep a very close eye on him. i wasnt trying to get them to socialize. my relatives just wanted to take pics of my snakes so i got a couple out.
