Yeah she ate

Well i waited and waited and tried all the tricks but i gave in and fed live that's all she has ever eaten, i was told, all went well and safely, thank god my dad got me those hemostats although i did have a slight guilt feeling as i fed one of our mice to it i...lol.. my daughter thought that was great she hates the mice. so hears my ? my kids love feeding the snakes and my daughter really wants to feed this new girl she's her fav, just looking for others opinons on this as my mother and i are argueing over this i figure if my daughter feels ready i should let her so long as it's supervised.... your thoughts plz

how old is your daughter? if you were dealing with f/t food, I'd say sure if you practiced with her holding the hemostats, etc. But with live food I'd say no way, unless she's in her early teens or older. There's just so much that can go wrong with live food, even when a responsible adult feeds the snake...what happens if your daughter gets overexcited and drops the mouse before it's time, causing injury to your snake? Also, her reflexes definitely won't be as fast as yours if something goes wrong.
