Just got this guy in a couple days ago..... he was a little dehydrated but otherwise Ok, he's got an awsome personality.... very very calm and just overall very sweet. Not to sure on his age but he's a little over 6 feet.... what do think??

he's beautiful! I've heard that male boas usually grow to around 4ft in a year, so maybe he's 2 or 3 years old?

WOW!!!! The colors on that thing are GREAT! That's one of the nicer common boas I've seen. What I find really neat is how the side markings and the back pattern line up with each other perfectly - you more commonly see these offset with each other.

Thanks everyone.... He really is a cool snake, I don't think he was being taken care of very well with his previous owner though... like I said earlier he was pretty dehydrated and is coat is a little ruff now... no scares or anything just allot of beat up scales and dry skin.... poor little guy, I can't wait to get him back into shape. I tried feeding him this weekend with no luck, tried to get a hold of the guy I bought him from to see what he's been feeding him and how, but no luck there either.... (I wanted to bitch him out for the way he shipped him too... A$$HOLE!!!) Guess I'll just try again next week. He's look'in better already though... gave him a couple of warm soak baths and been spraying him down so he could drink... thankfully he's starting to get his shine back and is looking better and better everyday... a coulpe meals and a shed or 2 and he should be as good as new.... I'll try and put up some better pictures when he's in a little better shape.
