Not shedding right

My bearded dragon does not shed right. It had some shed still on it's head. I did manage to get off by spraying it lots and gently kinda rubbing it. But I spray it all the time, well not all the time but once or twice a day. Also it did have 2 feet that keep some sheds. I had to soak for like an hour to get it off. That was harder to notice because when I first got it I just thought the coloring was just how it looked. The basking spot is about 100/105 the general hot side is about 95 and the cool side goes all the wa down to 80 it's a large cage so it has plenty of room, hides and it has heat ranging from 105 right down to 80 so it can maintain it bady temp better. I usually feed mealworms, crickets, and veggies depending on what Safeway has.

As far as I know...that is how beardies shed. They do not shed on one piece like snakes or some other lizards. Mine usually shed in many pieces over a week or two. I mist them more and give them a quick bath when they are shedding but I have never helped them get anything off. They usually just rub the skin off on the rocks & sticks in their enclosure. Do your have something to rub on? Also, don't feed them too many mealworms...it's not healthy.

I have some rocks and some branches and that for it to rub on. I don't feed too meny mealworms. I normally would not have helped but it has been on for at least 3 weeks. I have noticed that they do shed like that but it was not comming off so I stepped in and helped.
