day gecko question

hey, im new but i read alot of the forums already. and i have an adult day gecko that has been hiding alot at the bottom under some plants all the time while the other wonders the cage. the only time i see it is in the mourning when the light turns on. its still bright green so it dosent appear to be stressed... any suggestions?

Sounds like Kyle has the options down. I would start with the easiest one to solve - the possibility of not getting along with the cage mate, because that can contribute to stress, which in turn leads to poor feeding, which leads to vitamin deficiancies... a nasty progression. He is obviously trying to hide, which leads me to think he's insecure in his surroundings somehow.
