rattlers are home for the season

We had our best day Saturday, with nearly 100 rattlers spotted. From neonates to adults, they were everywhere.

The densites are less than 10 miles away, just a quick hike, really.
We are fortunate to have them this close!

Very great pics! Evryone who can stillfind rattlers and other snakes in his sourrunding can be very glad!
So do something for their conservation. Here in Europe it is to late. You have to search days until you find a snakes even though you are in an area where they are relatively often.
And in the USA you can see an comparable development. Take a look e.g. the Timbers...

Nuthin like a good rattler. I dont live in the US or anywhere hot so i dont get to see them in the wild
