Total count for yesterday was 17 adults, and 3 babies. 2 adult and 1 baby bull, and a pair of wandering garters. Today was warm and sunny, tomorrows count should be good, forecast of 24 degrees and sunshine.

It's going to be a long long winter waiting for the snakes to come back out and the spring addition of HISS in the Hills.

Total count for this morning.

36 baby ratllers
38 adult rattlers
6 bullsnakes, 2 were really really big.

Went to different dens in the evening and saw 15 more rattlesnakes and 1 bullsnake.

Today was our first 80 rattlesnake day. It was 24 c and very sunny.

No garters or hognose to report of today (to warm I think)

We saw 2 black widows, 3 argiope spiders (really cool), wolf spiders, camel crickets, velvet ants, darkling beatles. Did not find any scorpions or solopuges.

We also got nice and close to a big brown bat, and young porcupine. Got some nice video footage of both.

Ryan and Sheila
