how often should a brb shed ?

Well, how old is it, what temps are it kept at, frequency of feedings, ect... Can't answer that question with out knowing some of this, and still it will vary.

he was born in july and he is in very good temp gradent he eats evry 6-8 days I was just wondering if he had shed in sept and he is in shed now is this normal?

Perfectly normal. As long as they appear to be healthy and feeding, I wouldn't be concerned with the frequency of sheds as long as they are not overly frequent or constant, or abormally infrequent and your snake is not growing. There isn't really a typical schedule to go by on which any species will shed at what age since there are so many variables.
