Totally Pets?

So with all the hype that went on behind this show…I find it surprising that no one has posted yet about this? Perhaps I'm blind and have missed the posting? But I don’t think I see one? Unfortunately I could not make it out to the show this weekend. I hope all goes well and this lack of posting how it was is not a indication that it was a failure? Anyone have any pic's? how was it?

I went with the family, we all had a great time as we understood it was the beginning of super things to come. and I must commend Grant for all the work he must have done in getting it together. It is always good to see fellow animal lovers aswell.

I got my kid a Rosy T from Robert @ Arachnomania...nice guy buy things from him.

I didnt like the show.. and some things happened to make me mad at the show. So I'd prefer not to comment on it.

I had a great time at the show! Was quite interesting to see all the different animals under one roof.

Was especially nice to finally meet and talk to some members from SsnakesS! LadyHawke, Matt_K, Jeff, Shane, Marisa, TonyL, Asphyxia and I'm sure others that I'm forgetting right now (sorry, pretty pooped!)!

I went only on the friday, i enjoyed looking at snakes that i never saw in real life, like the albino BP and albino boas. They are so amazing in person. I also checked out the skate park they had outside....it was pretty sweet!!!

Well, i was there everday including the Thursday when people were setting up.. I have to say, it really was a good show.. Lots of people came through and there were some really nice looking animals there.. The one thing about the show that really stood out in my mind was when Sciensational Snakes did their first presentation on the stage. Throughout the day we heard many people saying 'eww' at the reptiles, but as soon as Sciensational Snakes was announced to be putting on a presentation, the people flooded to the stands to go and watch.. They put on a great presentation, my hats off to them!.
It was also great finally getting to meet Marisa after reading her 9000 posts.. Despite her not bringing my little snake, it was still nice finally being able to speak face to face.. The weekend also marked me holding my first tarantula, i didnt know what to think at first, but it wasnt so bad.. The next day i found myself at Arachnomania's table holding 4 at one time.. Later that day i purchased one.. Thanks again Rob and thank you Pixie for introducing me to these guys..

My new addition from the show.. Thanks again Rob (I Think)

LMAO

I must agree with Matt_K though about the tarantulas. I own two tarantulas myself but I have never ever held one. On Saturday I went to see Pixie and visit Arachnomania's table...and I held a tarantula for the very first time too! I felt sick for a little bit because I was nervous but I am already planning my first handling session with my two tarantulas tonight!

I was at the show from friday to sunday. I had an awesome time and saw a few members that i had not met before which was great. I wasn't too sure what to expect when i got there but it turned out to be a really original and interactive show! My favorite part was the leamers and the Paca at the petting zoo and the shows that were on the stages. The booths were great but i just wish i had brought more money to spend LOL . I still can't beleive i held a tarantuala in my hand on that weekend...being terrified of spiders (yeah yeah i know they aren't "spiders" but you know what i mean :P) that's a huge acheivement haha. I can't wait until the next show. Just want to thank Grant and his crew for putting up a great show which i will be looking forward to attending in the years to come!

We had a booth set up for the weekend. I have to say that the spending wasn't what I had hoped for, but we did some great PR work for the hobby.

Here are some pictures that we took, the kid holding the woma had no clue what he was holding and his mom didnt ask to see the price tag! HAHAHA

Sorry the pics are so big, Susan really like the Lama! Thanks to Grant and friends for all the work they did, I'm sure next year will be even better.

Matt.

I was happy to actually TALK to Matt_K in real life, as I didn't get to when I went to the July Expo. I also had a good time sitting at the allthingsaquatic booth with Shane and his personal life assistant Marisa! I went with my mom and she said, "Wow, that Shane guy is pretty hot, you two would make a great couple!" LMAO

I liked all the reptile exibits but didn't really like the dog fashion show and the dog carriers which literally turns you dog into your purse!

I had a better time at PCPC on Saturday where I picked up my new Kingsnake.
