I never cooled them down. They will breed without a cooling period.

They don't really need a cool down period at all to induce mating. I do give however a change in the day/night time. Summer time it's around 14 hours day/ 10 hours night. Winter time around 10 hour days/ 14 hours night.
To get to these times takes about 2 months of slowly altering the times until i get to the desired time. I usually start to lower the daylight around the beggining of october and start bringing them up around the end of march.

Yes i do. I do it for all my reptiles.
My beardies are an exception though i do cool them down in the winter. We were having problems with them mating last year(female was laying infertile clutches). So this past winter we cooled them down and changed the time. And this year it work. So for the beardies they will continue to get "cooled" down.
Leos on the other hand don't need it. around april/ may i would introduce my male and from then on out (for the rest of the season) i would be getting eggs.
