Question red-eye tree frog question??

Ok, this might be a silly question but I thought I would get some other opinons. Can you put other reptiles with red-eyes?? Lets say a cape dwarf day gecko? The red-eyes are all ready bigger than the dwarf but I was thinking if it was ok, then Felany (cape dwarf) would much perfer to be in the reds encloser, way cooler. What do you think???

It is not recommended that you mix species. It can create a whole world of problems.

Don't mix any different species, like ohh_kristina said it just causes problems and Red eyes are pretty sensitive to begin with.

dwarf gecko

the dwarf gecko you are probably refering to, if you obtained it recently is a Lygodactylus kimhowelli, and this is a pic at gekkota.com. http://www.gekkota.com/html/l__kimhowelli.html. if this is the right gecko it is from tansania which is fairly dry compared to your red eye tank.
don't mix animals

I have always recommended aginst mixig species but usually new owners don't listen and the end result I have heard countless times when ppl put geckos in with tree frogs is the frog EATS the gecko. I have heard this horror story from at least a dozen ppl. It may look pretty but generally ends bad. Better safe then sorry. Don't mix.

Mixing species is never a good idea but in the past, I have had success with housing red-eye treefrogs and giant day geckos together. My treefrogs and my giant day gecko have been living together for almost three years now without a problem.

I am guesing that it is because the day geck is durinal while the treefrogs are nocturnal so the different species are never awake at the same time to disturb eachother. But maybe I'm just lucky with mixing species... I still don't reccommend that you try it though because you may not be as lucky

Thanks for the input everyone. I had decided to not mix them together The red-eyes are doing fab, growing super fast. The little day gecko is doing good too.
