Wow! I've never seen one of those before, but, it's truely beautiful. I LOVE the colours on that snake, especially the orange near its head. Awesome photo as usual.

Nice Cemophora shot John! A man after my own. Is that one a captive specimen?

Great looking snake, and awesome photo as usual, John. I always look forward to your photos, even when I'm at work on dialup! Now THAT is tribute to your art!

Thanks!

The first step is to decide what you want to do with you photos. Would you like to have your photos published or do you just want to take snap shots to share with friends and family? Define your main photographic interest. Do you want to photograph salamanders, landscapes or wild birds? Most camera systems will do all of the above with limitations, obviously you want equipment with the least amount of limitations for your photographic interests. How much do you want to spend? Camera systems range in price from fairly inexpensive to very expensive.

If you already have a camera, I would suggest that you take lots and lots of pics and then try to learn from your mistakes.
