Very eventful evening
Ok, so I go and check on Monty because he is getting ready to shed soon. I see him out of his hide with shed hanging off his neck. I very gently take him out to weigh him, waited the good 3 days to pick him up after the large rat i fed him. His weight registered 322 grams, he's about 4 or 5 mo. old and just barely 2 1/2 ft. anyway as I was going to lift him out he starts to urinate in the little tub i use to weight him, fine, i let him do his business, then take him out and set him down to go and clean up the mess, 2 seconds later i see something big and brown start to poke out of his anus, OH GREAT! poos on the floor LOL! I clean that up, wash off Monty and then put him back in his enclosure, seconds after that he gives me a perfect shed! What a wonderful evening if I must say so! Heheh

In the future, I would refrain from handling your ball while it is shedding.

that is not the point just the perioud of time it takes for going "in the blue" till the day he actualt sheds is realy a stress full time for mostly all snakes. and then handeling a snake that is not in shed is stresfull enugh now your snake just wants to get this skin of and realx for a few days and you start handeling it a realy big NO NO.
many you did not know but now you know no harm done. (it will not kill you snake but it is still not a good thing to do)

It's a ball python, how can it get stressed out any more than it already is?! I get that it's not a good idea now not to hold the snake or disturb it during the shedding process, but I don't need 3 people telling me it is wrong, 1 is plenty! Thank you and good night LOL!

During every shed my bp has had since I've had her (only 2), she always takes a big dump too. Gotta love her!
