sucessful at breeding crikets

Hey,
i was trying to breed cirkets last week, so bought a dozen adult crikets and put them in, normal soil. 5 mins later i would see the females laying eggs every where!!!!, and i waited about a week i watered the soil a couple of times through the week. and today i was gonna water it again and then i see tiny white baby crikets, i thought it wouldnt work but it did!!! now i just have to raise them and do it again, just wanted to tell a sucessful story on breeding crikets

congratulations! The babies are a little harder to keep alive, but I'm sure you can do it

i never got the hang of it myself, at least not to the point where I was self sufficent with my supply. Glad to hear that you got off to a good start with your cricket breeding project.

hey
Alan:hmmmm if you are having an aqurium(for breeding)your gonna get your self in big trouble, i used a tank but when they hatch, they would all climb on the coners of the tank, where the glue is and escape, even if i have something over it! So watch out, cause alot of my criekts are lose!!!!, what cant criekts climb on anyone kno??? besides glass, do thye climb on plastic???

On the good side of the note, the criekts are doing fine, a lot havnt died yet, and they are all eating
