New User
I just thought I would introduce myself. I just registered today. I live on the West Coast, in BC, and presently have 1 snake, a year old ball named Annie. I am buying 2 red tailed boas this week, a male name Jake, about 7yrs and 4 feet, and an as yet un-named female, approx 7- 10 yrs and 6 ft. I grew up with a boa that died last summer at 16feet, 85lbs and at least 30 yrs, as well as a 16 ft reticulated python and a 6ft bull snake. When she(the boa) died, it just didn't feel right not having a snake in my life for the first time in almost 30yrs. My hubby, bless his nervous-of-snakes soul, bought me Annie. Now I am expanding my home.
I am hoping to be able to make contacts with people who appreciate snakes like I do, as well as get information on breeding issues and husbandry.
I look forward to..... well, the future.
Thanks!

Yeah, welcome. I'm pretty new here, too, but I've been getting a very nice welcome lately. Sorry to hear about your boa, but it sure sounds like you will have fun with your new family members. I have 6 ball pythons, and loving all of them. Take care.
See you around,
Jennifer

Thanks everyone! The new kids are doing good. The male, Jake, has been a hit with my Hubby, who's not keen on snakes. The girl, as yet un-named, had some issues with food refusal, but I gave her a young guinea pig today and she had NO problem with it. Happy girl!!! Any suggestions for a good name???
