El-cheapo yet neato

Hee hee. Or something like that. Well, it's not melamine or hardwood, nor does it possess some of the features I'd eventually like to have... but it works.

For $49 I bought a giant utility shelf at Lowe's. Four feet wide, 2 feet deep and six feet high. It's metal with particle board shelves, which are adjustable. (I think I'm going to get some of the Contact shelf paper to cover the shelves so they'll be easy to wipe down.) This now holds three 50 gallon clear Sterilite tubs. These were a find. $9 each, making nicely roomy quarters for my two JCP females and my BCI girl.

For now I feel like I have easy to maintain, easy to clean enclosures, which didn't take a large investment to secure and setup. The JCPs are in enclosures of a size where they should be able to stay a good long while. The BCI will eventually need more room, but she's good until she has another growth spurt. (She's two, about 4.5 feet)

The thing I like best was the shelf. I'd eventually like to go with Neodesha display cages for the JCPs. I'm eyeing a four foot Barrs cage for the boa. I should be able to easily fit all of those on the shelf without having to custom build something or buy Neodesha's hella expensive rack.
