Starting a sSNAKESs Reptile club
How many of my fellow sSNAKESs members would like to start a reptile club here in US and in Canada?
It's a great chance for anyone who is interested in meeting other members of this board and checking out different peoples collections in person. It could happen every 3-6 months a year.
So what do you think?

Sure, sounds like a great idea... however, when you say Canada / US, I personally dont think meetings would work out THAT well

We could have a meeting for members who live in the US and we could do the same for fellow Canadian members as well. Whether it be on the east or west coast of Canada or the US. Members in the US would choose who would host each meeting @ there home and same with Canadian members as well.

Keeping a Reptile club working is not as easy as you might think....but the more you put in the more you get out of it, just like everything else....go for it !!!!!

Sure its not easy to maintain somethin' like it... however, the experience and knowledge and outreach that hits the community plays a vital role in the togetherness of our community... I'd have to add though, if theres a local one in your area, join it!

We could have ones in different regions for US example: Texas could be the Southern sSNAKESs Reptile Club region & New England could be the Northeast sSNAKESs Reptile Club region & California could be the West sSNAKESs Reptile Club region & Kansas could be the mid sSNAKESs Reptile Club region.
Canada example: Quebec could be the East sSNAKESs Reptile Club region & B.C. could be the West sSNAKESs Reptile Club region & Manitoba could be the mid sSNAKESs Reptile Club region

I did buy a family membership to "a certain Alberta-wide reptile club", but they conveniently lost it. Apparently my money went to god use, but my membership just faded into oblivion. I'm not re-buying it, so I'll just wait until next year. I guess it's my fault for not getting a receipt.

Sounds like an okay idea but I really think it would be pretty hard to maintain so many clubs. I also think that there would have to be one in Ontario (probably toronto) since so many people keep herps here. Have you talked to the mods about this?
