Closed thread icon

I was looking at the icon for a closed thread (at the bottom of the forum list) and I was wondering what it's supposed to represent? It looks like a piece of paper with the top right corner folded over, but then it has some rectangles at the bottom left. What are the rectangles supposed to be?

The closed thread icon is an envelope with a lock placed on the right side.
