Herps I have found in Indiana.
Here are a few herps I have found by my home.
Gray tree frog: I like his green color better than his brown color.

Five Line Skink:

I still have the brown Five line Skink. I gave the Skink to my two boys earlier this summer. They are always fining bug outside to feed it. I keep the Skink in a 10 ga. tank on my screened in porch. My boys want to keep him so I do not know if I am going to let him go soon or try a hibernate him.
These are some of the herps from last year.
Bull snakes: My Vet wanted the Bulls so I gave them to him.

Midland Brown snake:
Let him go the same day I found him.

Milk snake: I had this one for a bout 2 weeks before I let him go.
He was so tame, never bit me one time.

This is a picture from the day I let him go.

Five Line Skinks:
Let these guys go the same day I found them.

Hey, what city in Indiana are you from? Im from Frankfort. Its a little bit south of Lafayette. The only snakes I have found around my place are Northern Water Snakes, garters, and those Midland browns. Have you found anything else where you're at? I see you're in NW Indiana, have you ever run into a Massasuaga Rattler? Id like to see one of those someday.

Hi shaggybill,
I live in Porter, IN. I have also found garters.
Here is a pic of a small Massasuaga that my friend found out by me. The only one I have found was a dead one.

That would be a Gray Treefrog ( Hyla versicolor) (edit: the original post said "Green Tree Frog", hence the reasoning behind this statement).
Also, I would advise that you release the E. fasciatus if you do not have a valid hunting or fishing license. I spend a great deal of time researching this species and I entertain a personal interest in their conservation. Just a friendly heads-up on the legalities in your State Regulations for Indiana
Cheers,
RMB

@RMBolton : Do you by chance know the bylaws for constrictors, venomous, native species etc, for Mississauga?

Kyle,
I do not know of the specific bylaws in your municipality, however, provincial regulations on native fauna remain the same. I bet Grant Crossman from PCPC would be well-versed on your bylaws as he would require this knowledge before putting on the shows. I would assume that Mississauga has the same bylaws as the typical municipality (no venomous, no boids over x feet, etc etc).
Get a hold of Grant and see if he can help more.
Cheers,
Ryan
