Dragon died :(
The water dragon was dead when I got home today. There were some feces on the towel. What a bummer, I was really expecting her to make it.

That sucks big time Zoe. Can't win them all though. Congrats for trying to save a life.

if like you said, it was due to holding eggs too young, thats a pretty narrow chance of survival, they use all of their restored energy.. fat etc to lay their eggs.. Least the animal died comfortably due to your work. Sorry to hear the news though.

I don't think it was an egg, she was pretty skinny and I couldn't see or feel anyway. I just wish there was something I'd have done. It's very depressing when you're one rescue dies :\.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I think it's even harder to lose a rescue than a pet because you wonder if it ever had a good quality of life, whereas you know how your pets have been treated.

I'm so sorry, Zoe. I know you tried your best with her but sometimes they have slipped to far by the time we get them. You will be in my thoughts.
