Thumbs up The benefits of Lizard Spit

Has anyone read this article yet? Lizard-Spit Drug Helps in Diabetes

Sounds like Gilas are going to be on the good-guys list now. Let's hope soon we can add all the other herps as well.

thats pretty cool, and good news for diabetics. But i just hope that the animals they bring in to exract venom from are cared for properly and not just taken for granted

Its not gonna do anything to benefit Gila monsters. They are gonna figure out a way to manufacture it synthetically.

Well, that's good news for the Diabetic community. I myself am severely hypoglycemic (if I have too much sugar, I get very ill, my glads swell, etc. and if I have too little, I could black out and go into shock), so, I'm in the high risk group for developing Diabetes.
