Fat Tail Geckos.........*pics*
I must have way too much time on my hands lately. I seem to be playing with the camera a lot
Anyway, here are some of my girls that will be producing this coming season. There are just a couple of my adult females that couldn't make it out for the photoshoot, and I also didn't want to place males in with all the girls right now. I feel this is an accurate representation of our colony however, and also shows the potential for next season
Who says Fat Tails don't come in a variety of colours? Whom ever said that forgot to tell my geckos about it

Here are a couple of this years hold backs. I have never seen such a difference in colour at such a young age, but this is a Tangerine Amelenistic baby along with a normal Amelenistic baby.
The normal Amel was produced from a normal Amel female bred with a Tangerine het Amel male. The little Tangerine Amel baby was produced from a Tangerine het x Tangerine het Amelenistic pairing.

Thanks for looking and enjoy

Hey Jon,
Nice Fat Tails! 2003 marks our fourth consecutive year breeding Fat Tails. When we started out not many people in Canada were breeding them, and those that were had problems with doing it year after year. After four years straight I think we are doing something right! Check out these guys:
One of our Amel Females on the scale, not bad at 58g.
This 2003 hatched Amle male will be in our breeding programs for next year.
August 8, a busy day in our incubator, these six babies and a few others that didnt make it into the picture!
WOW 90g, thats a big boy! Anyone else got any this size?
Thanks for looking,
Matt.

I'm not sure what Matt and Susan have on their agenda, but I should have some Amels available near the begining of 2004.
This was my first year producing Fat Tails and I've kept back most of what was produced for various reasons, but I will have a couple more Hets ready to breed for this coming season as well as a few more Amels.
I am currently working with 4 different lines of Amels, with most of our Hets being from Matt and Susan in 2002. I think next year will be an exciting one from the looks of how these guys are growing up
I really enjoy working with the Fat Tails.
Best wishes,
