It

A couple of people have commented on my avatar and not knowing were that clown is from so i will give a little background of IT.

IT is a book and movie by all time greatest horror writer Stephen King. I am a Stephen King nut (passed down with my father lol). IT can take several forms into anything that he desires to mess with your mind. The forms IT uses the most would be Pennywise the clown (played be Tim Curry also starred in Rocky Horror Picture Show). IT lures childern away and kills them from a small town (forgot the name) every so many years (forgot how many years) I'm just going to give the basis of IT cause i don't want to ruin the movie if people haven't seen IT. If you enjoy scary movies this one is a all time classic and a must see. Along with some other great scary or suspense movies Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, The Shinning, and Dee Sniders Strangeland (which i'm not allowed to watch Strangeland when my boyfriend is home cause it creeps him out way too much). Strangeland is defenitly a must see. All kinds of body modification and suspensions in there. Plus how many times are you going to see Freddy Krueger being tortured and suspended With his mouth and eyes sewn shut. LOL I know i'm warped. Scary movies are the best!!!

I know his image in that pic is very creepy but everytime i see it i laugh cause it reminds me of parts of the movies.

Come down here Drewlowe.. they all float down here..

Great movie!

I am waiting, almost patiently, sometimes agitatedly.. for the King to bring out the next of the Dark Tower series.
The last one was a biggie.

Pookie my dad's the same way i remember being real little curled up in his lap watching stephen king movies and sometimes he would read parts of the books to me. I just recently bought a 3 pack dvd with Maximum Overdrive, Children of the Corn, and Creepshow 2. i'm trying to get all of his movies. I really want The shinning and people under the stairs. Sleep walkers really good too. Alright all of them are good.

I like Steven King, my favorite book by him would have to be The Long Walk. But does nayone else agree that althoguht King's book are wonderful, his movies kind of lack, well, the ability to be anywhere as good as the book?

Here I go with my controversial opinion....

I am NOT a Stephen King fan. I think as the horror genre goes, he is the most overrated writer in history. I like Dean R. Koontz and Bran Lumley. I find King's books WAY too hard to get into, and when you bore the crap out of me in the first 200 pages, I will never pick up the book again.

Drewlowe, that's awesome that you've seen Strangeland. I haven't seen it myself, because I can never find it in the vid stores. But I have seen captions and I do know about the story. Dee Snider is a godlike being to me. He's the reason I got into metal music.

I saw "It" a few years ago and haven't looked at clowns the same ever since. Now they always seem sinister :-).

jncoclub: I agree, the movies never seem quite as good as the book.
