TORONTO ZOO visit on MONDAY
http://www.torontozoo.com
Anybody interested in going to the zoo? I'll be going with my family and some friends on Monday.
There is a water park now, and there is the same old attractions you're all familiar with, with the exception of the monorail, which has been dismantled. But there is a shuttle.
Maybe see you there, or arrange to meet someone through this thread.
Take care!
Bj

There was an accident a decade ago and then a long investigation ensued...a few people were injured, nobody killed. The monorail train did not fall from the track but apparently halted abruptly and derailed.
Most of the track has been paved over but you can still see some of it. A shame really, as it was a highlight of my childhood visits

I went a few weeks back and the komodos were there. There was a retic, red tailed tiger snake, buncha frogs, spiders, lixards, snakes ( eyelash tree vipers among my favouritres ).
