After the feed
Hey, I just fed my 1st BP this afternoon, and I am JW if its ok to hold him. Its been about 5 HRS sense he fed, and he seems to be active in his cage!

leave him be for about 2 days.
let him digest the food, then handle him.
if you handle him 2 soon after feeding there could be a chance of him regurgitating his food which is bad.

Normally we wait until the snakes have pooped or around three days, whichever comes first.

five hours is NOT enough time!! the 2-day rule is a good rule of thumb. sometimes i make this 36 hours if it was a too-small prey item.
