Mine is just a baby but Ill try to get a pic of her. I am curious Why isn't there an Iguana forum? I would think there are more Iguana owners than Crested Gecko owners and they have their own forum.

Ah not really. Not many people here talk to much about Iguanas. Its actually good news if you think about it, as hardly anyone can care for them as a pet. I hardly can. LOL.

Here's what my green iguana finished doing at about 4:15 am today:

She's resting comfortably in a nice dark closet after laying her first clutch ever, so I'll snap some pics of my skinny girl later on. Laying 46 eggs is tiring work.

Ah! Egg time Eyespy!!!!

Roxy has given us around 50 eggs a few times, but not this year. I think the odd weather screwed her up!

Just out of curiosity does your ig always lay at this time of the year? Roxy always lays by March or so.

This is her first time, so we'll have to wait a year to see if she's a consistent girl or just clutches when she feels like it. She's still slumbering away, too, and it's 7 hours since she laid her eggs.

I see! Roxy is normally like clockwork when it comes to eggs. Did your girl lay in the laying box? First year Roxy would touch nothing for digging but playsand in a shallow pan, what a weirdo, but that's how she layed for her previous owners as well. Second time she refused ALL types of laying boxes (even a HUGE one I set up) and layed on her basking shelf! The basking shelf has been her choice ever since.

Here's Gizmo about 12 hours after laying her eggs. She's so thin now that the urge to put my mouth over her snout and try to inflate her is almost overwhelming.

LMAO! That's a good one. Roxy looks like that too after egg laying.

Awesome pics, I think it's wonderful how some of you "rescue" them, living in a warm climate like me, alot of people buy the cute little baby Iguana's then not wanting them as they get bigger and they end up escaping or (as sad as is) I've heard alot of people just letting them go.
