day gecko chirping.....?

hey,

today i heard a sound in my room....a sort of chirping sound that sounded like a sick dove (lol...best i could describe it) so i was running around my room trying to find out who dunnit...i was convinced that some creature was living under my couch or something..lol....so i got my mom up there to help find what it was and we were looking at my day geckos in their cage and then i heard the spound again!!!...and it was coming from their cage!....it sounded as if the male was making the sound towards the female....not 100% sure though...could've been the female.
so i want to know what it means? is it some kind of mating call thingy? does he hate her? or maybe he just wanted to sit on the statue where she was?
any help would be gretly appreciated,

Its their mating call. Maybe in a month you will be finding little eggs around the cage
