I found that snake in Pennsylvania and I had around three more sites left to survey so bringing it home would not have been feasible. This, coupled with the fact that I do not collect wild animals, means that he's most likely still enjoying the sun on that rock

Man are they all that light coloured in the states? Up here by Georgian bay they are a LOT darker! That has gotta be one of the fatest water snakes I have ever seen! Good job!

The Nerodia Sipidons up here are much darker black in body with white lines....great pics

I found a couple of Northerns this weekend. I find that colour varies alot altough majority of the specimens I have found seem to be alot "grayer" that that.
